Mohd Sarfaraz Alam/Saharsa: In today’s time, it is often seen that many women get bored sitting at home. In such a situation, today we are going to tell about a scheme through which women can get employment and also improve the financial condition of their family. Many women do not work anywhere due to leaving the house, safety and other reasons. Through this scheme, women can work while staying at home. Under the scheme, women will be given training about different works. With this, women can do business and earn income by taking training in their favorite work and working at home.
Many times, due to lack of information, proper guidance and training, women are not able to move forward. In view of this problem, Local 18 has brought this important news for you. The aim of the Agricultural College of Saharsa and the female scientist working there, Dr. Sunita Paswan, is that every woman should become self-reliant and improve the economic condition of the family by becoming independent.
In a special conversation with Local 18, Dr. Sunita Paswan told that whether women sitting at home are educated or completely illiterate, they can come to the Krishi Vigyan Kendra and learn any skill as per their interest. There is no restriction of age, qualification or background here. Only the woman should have the desire to learn something new and move forward in life. Many types of employment oriented training are provided to women in Krishi Vigyan Kendra. In this, training is given from mushroom production to making pickles, papad, jam, jelly, jaggery to duck rearing and poultry rearing. The nuances related to these are taught and explained. Even how to market the item after it is ready and how to sell it in the market is also taught and told.
If a woman wants to work in the mushroom field, then the entire process is taught to her by the experts here. All the steps from seed preparation, mushroom growing, packing, marketing and selling are taught here. This is a business that can be started at home with very little capital.
Detailed training on duck and poultry rearing is given here. Information about which breed of duck is better to buy, what to feed them, how to protect them from diseases and how to deliver the product to the market is given. Skills for training in agriculture and horticulture are also taught. Women interested in farming can learn new and modern techniques here. Organic farming, vegetable production, identifying the quality of seeds, making compost and ways to produce more in less space are suggested. Apart from this, separate training is organized for some women who want to make products like pickle, papad, jam, jelly or jaggery. The experts here give them information about all the methods working in the market.
Here, not only training is given, the team of Krishi Vigyan Kendra also helps women in starting employment whenever needed. The aim of the center is not only to impart skills but also to give them confidence so that they can create their own identity even while sitting at home. Dr. Sunita Paswan says that women have immense potential, they just need the right direction and guidance and here every woman is taught the complete way to become self-reliant in the field of her choice. He told that today hundreds of women are improving the financial condition of their families by taking training. She proved that if given an opportunity, every woman can change her life and become an inspiration for others too.
