An incident happened in Thailand which shocked the entire country. A 65-year-old woman, who was believed to be dead and was kept in a coffin and was being taken to the temple for the last rites, suddenly started moving. As soon as the temple staff heard a light knock coming from the coffin, they were shocked. On opening the coffin, the woman opened her eyes slightly and moved her hands and legs. The family claimed that he had stopped breathing two days ago, after which they took him out to fulfill his last wish of organ donation. But the hospital refused due to lack of official death certificate. Meanwhile this miraculous turn came to light.
There is no dearth of strange stories in the world, but the incident that came to light in Thailand changed the definition of death. Imagine a woman, whom her family thought was dead and brought her for last rites, suddenly started moving inside the coffin… hands raised, head shaking… and then a light knock! The temple priest and the people present were stunned! My eyes widened in tears! It seemed as if a horror scene from a movie had come alive in front of us.
The incident took place at the Buddhist temple Wat Rat Prakhong Tham, which is located in Nonthaburi province near Thailand’s capital Bangkok. The temple itself has posted its video, in which the woman lying in the coffin is seen making light movements. Regarding this 65 year old woman, her brother told the temple staff that she was bedridden for two years and was not able to walk at all. His health was deteriorating rapidly for the last few days. Two days ago he stopped responding. Wasn’t even breathing.
The family thought that the sister had passed away.
There was no doctor nearby in the village, and the poor family thought that the sister had passed away. The brother placed his 65-year-old sister in the coffin and set out towards Bangkok after traveling a long distance of 500 kilometres. The sister had expressed her wish while alive that she wanted to donate her organs after her death. So the brother took him to the hospital for organ donation. But the hospital refused to accept the body without a death certificate. Now he brought the coffin to the temple, where free cremation facilities are provided.
The sound of ‘thak-thak’ from inside the coffin
At that time, temple manager Parat Sudthup was explaining to his brother that the last rites would not take place without the death certificate. Then…knock…knock…knock…a faint sound came from inside the coffin. At first I thought it was some illusion. Then the voice came again. Parrot looked alertly towards the coffin. He said, I was shocked. I immediately said- Open the coffin! When it opened, we were all surprised. The woman slowly opened her eyes and lightly touched the wall of the coffin. She was probably asking for help inside for a long time. The breathing of the temple staff stopped, the ground slipped beneath the brother’s feet, and the people present around were stunned. The sister whom he had brought to the funeral pyre thinking he was dead, suddenly turned out to be alive!
