First he shot his wife and two daughters and then buried the bodies in a pit. It is being told that the wife had gone to her maternal home after a family quarrel. During this time she was not wearing a burqa and was not even wearing a niqab. This enraged him and he shot and killed his wife Tahira, daughters Afreen and Sahreen. Police have recovered all three bodies. This heart-wrenching incident took place in Gadhidaulat village of Kandhla police station area.
Mother and daughter were missing for five days
It is being told that the woman and her two daughters were missing for five days. The person accused of murder had buried the dead bodies by digging a pit in the courtyard of the house itself. During police interrogation, Farooq told that he shot and killed his wife Tahira and elder daughter Afreen. While the second daughter, Sahreen, was strangled to death and then all three bodies were buried in a pit already made for a toilet in the courtyard of the house. All three were missing before the murder was revealed.
During police interrogation, the accused confessed to the murder
Fearing some untoward incident, Farooq’s father had informed the police about his disappearance. Then when the police started investigation, Farooq continued lying. After this, when the police interrogated him strictly, he confessed to the murder. On his notice, the police started cleaning the courtyard. Regarding the incident, SP NP Singh said that the accused has been taken into custody and further action is being taken. There is an atmosphere of panic in the village due to the incident of triple murder.
