Rahul Gandhi News: Manisha Kayande demanded an inquiry committee on Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Germany. He raised questions on Rahul Gandhi’s foreign trips. He said that as a leader of opposition, it is his responsibility to participate in the discussions in Parliament, but perhaps he is not interested in it.
Nagpur. Politics has heated up due to the sudden visit of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi to Germany amid the winter session of Parliament. Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) leader Manisha Kayande has made a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi’s foreign trips. He has demanded from the Central Government that the activities of Rahul Gandhi should be tracked and a committee should be formed to investigate it. Speaking to the media in Nagpur, Kayinde alleged that Rahul Gandhi repeatedly goes abroad and makes statements against India, which tarnishes the image of the country.
Questions raised on disappearance between sessions
Manisha Kayande raised questions on the seriousness of Rahul Gandhi. He said, “For the last one-and-a-half years, we have seen that Rahul Gandhi is going abroad again and again. Whenever there is any important activity in the country or the Parliament is in session, he disappears.” He said that as a leader of opposition, it is his responsibility to participate in the discussions in Parliament, but perhaps he is not interested in it. Kayinde asked why he felt the need to go abroad in the middle of the session?
Demand for security and investigation
The Shiv Sena leader also expressed concern about the safety of Rahul Gandhi. He said that they go abroad without taking their security with them. If any untoward incident happens to them there, who will be responsible for it? He appealed to the Central Government to track the purpose of Rahul Gandhi’s foreign trips and his activities. They allege that Rahul defames India by going abroad.
Vishal Dadlani and reaction on UNESCO
Furthermore, Manisha Kayande welcomed the inclusion of Diwali in the ‘Intangible Cultural Heritage’ list by UNESCO. He said that this is a matter of pride for India. At the same time, he reacted to musician Vishal Dadlani’s taunt on discussing ‘Vande Mataram’. Dadlani had said that the problems of unemployment and pollution have been solved after the 10-hour debate. On this Kayinde said that I do not know what their motive is, but the government is in action mode on the problems, like immediate action was taken in the Indigo case.
