Mega plan for sports and players

Through Sports Edge, Jayant is dreaming of grooming players from village to village and city to city and taking them to the Olympics. Jayant Chaudhary launched Sports Edge i.e. Sports and Entrepreneurship Development for Growth and Excellence at Kailash Prakash Sports Stadium in Meerut, through which government schemes, players and technical education are to be linked together. Jayant Chaudhary said that this is not a government program but a campaign.
Target to take Meerut’s sports industry to Rs 400000 crore
He said that ITI of Meerut Saket has been made a hub and all the districts will be connected through it. Jayant Chaudhary has also set a target of taking Meerut’s sports industry to Rs 40 thousand crore by 2035. It has been said that Rs 10 crore will be spent on sports in the next three years from the funds of Union Minister of State Jayant Chaudhary, MP Chandan Chauhan and MP Dr. Rajkumar Sangwan, and big efforts have also been started to open SAI Center in Western UP.
