Haryana New DGP: Naib Singh Saini government has sent a panel of seven names to the Center for the selection of the new DGP in Haryana. OP Singh is retiring at the end of this year. According to the information, a panel of seven officers has been formed by the Haryana government and the name of former DGP Shatrujit Kapoor is also included in it. Kapoor’s name was mentioned in the note as the prime accused in the death of IPS Y Purna Kumar. Till now Kapoor has not received a clean chit in this case from Chandigarh Police.
Apart from Shatrujeet Kapoor, the government has also included the names of Ajay Singhal, Alok Mittal, Arshinder Chawla, Sanjeev Jain in its panel. The names of two ADGP level officers Navdeep Work and Kala Ramachandran have also been included in the panel. Because both these officers have completed 30 years of service.
Names will be sent to the center
It is noteworthy that the state government will send the panel of these names to the Center and then approval of three names will come from there and then one of those three will get posted on the post of DGP. The important thing is that the name of former DGP Shutrajit Kapoor is shocking. Because the government itself had sent him on leave and now his name has been recommended to be made DGP again.

There was a lot of uproar over the death of Haryana ADGP Y Purna Singh. In this case, Purna Singh, apart from the IAS officers of Haryana, had also written the names of police officers in the note.
