Ram Nayan Singh was born on 18 August 1966 in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. He has a BA degree in Philosophy. After completing his studies, he took the PCS (Provincial Civil Service) examination and passed it. Ram Nayan Singh joined the police as PPS (Provincial Police Service) in the year 1998. Later, after getting promotion, he became IPS (Indian Police Service). He got IPS cadre in 2016. Ram Nayan Singh achieved great position in the police service even after studying a subject like philosophy.
Received awards many times, became SP for the first time
Ram Nayan Singh, working in UP Police, has received the Gallantry Award many times for his work. He became the Superintendent of Police, Bahraich on 22 December 2024. This was his first posting as SP. It is being said that Ram Nayan Singh is a person of religious nature. He has great faith in the Siddhanath temple. SP leader Akhilesh Yadav wrote on Twitter that when the entire police department is busy in saluting, the criminals of the state will remain happy. Police in UP has failed in its work. She is not doing the work she is supposed to do, rather she is wasting her limited capabilities and space. Azad Samaj Party chief Chandrashekhar Azad posted on X that India is not a monastery but a constitutional republic. The state is not the property of any particular religion. Despite this clear mention, a narrator is given a parade and salute by the Uttar Pradesh Police. This is not just an administrative mistake, but an open attack on the Constitution.
The Director General of Police has taken cognizance of the unauthorized use of the Police Parade Ground in a program organized in Bahraich district.
