Ayodhya: As the Special Voter Verification (SIR) reaches the final stage, the Ayodhya administration has further strengthened its pace and monitoring. In this sequence, an important review meeting was organized today with officials and public representatives of Ayodhya district. It became clear in the meeting that about 20 percent of the SIR forms have not been collected yet, and instructions were given to BLOs for special cooperation and activeness to ensure that they are collected within the deadline.
The minister in charge clearly said in the meeting that the aim is not just to collect forms, but to make the voter list 100 percent pure and error-free. He directed that no one should be included in the wrong voter list and no one should be left out from the correct voter list. Minister in-charge Surya Pratap Shahi has appealed to the voters that those who have SIR forms and have not submitted them yet, should submit the forms to the BLO as soon as possible, so that the digital process can be completed on time.
Speed up the refinement of voter list
According to the District Election Officer, SIR survey is going on at a fast pace in Ayodhya district. BLOs are going door to door and collecting voter forms. The entire process of SIR is being taken forward on a war footing. All the officers and teams are continuously present in the field and working. Within the next three days, each BLO will hold a meeting with the booth level agents, in which the list of ASD (Absentee, Shifted, Deceased) voters will be provided. This will further speed up the refinement of the voter list.
No delay in SIR in Ayodhya
District Election Officer Nikhil Tikaram said that now only about 1 percent people are left in Ayodhya district, who have not yet provided the forms. By contacting them, the forms are being collected at a rapid pace, so that all the data can be digitized on time. He assured that the SIR survey is going on very smoothly in Ayodhya district and there is no hindrance of any kind. Overall, after the joint meeting of the administration and public representatives, a clear roadmap has been prepared to speed up the SIR process. Officials claim that Ayodhya will complete 100 percent of the target of SIR survey within the stipulated time frame.
Initiative to collect forms as soon as possible
Minister in-charge Surya Pratap Shahi said that the final phase of SIR training is going on, due to which today we have held a meeting on this with the officials and public representatives of Ayodhya district. About 20 percent of the forms have not been collected yet. We have held a meeting today to collect the forms with the help of BLO. An outline has also been prepared for collecting and submitting the forms as soon as possible.
The minister in charge said that no wrong voter should be allowed to become a voter and the right voter should not be left out, we are being conscious about this and cooperating. While making the appeal, the Minister in charge said that the voters who have the SIR form and have not submitted it yet, should submit it as soon as possible.
