Tampa, Florida. In the matter of love and relationships, people often give more importance to external beauty and because of this many people have to suffer the pain of rejection. But what will happen when the rejected person completely changes himself and achieves success and then the same people try to come back to life? Something similar happened with an American woman, Heather Floda, who after being rejected due to obesity, lost more than 81 kg and is now rejecting the same men with confidence. The man who once looked at Heather and said, “You’re beautiful, but I don’t date fat women.” Then 28 year old Heather was heartbroken after hearing this sentence. But he did not give up and decided to lose weight.
Three years ago, Heather Floda’s weight was around 161 kg. But after the taunts she faced due to obesity, she now weighs 79 kg and looks absolutely fit and beautiful. In such a situation, men who once shrugged her off by calling her fat are now sending messages to Heather and, in a way, are begging for friendship. However, now Heather is saying ‘no’ to those men. Heather, who became an online fitness coach, said, “Those people’s comments hurt me, because I knew what I could give in a relationship. On almost every date, I was told that you are beautiful, but I don’t date fat women.” After this Heather decided that now change had to be brought. “I started overeating at the drive-thru,” says Heather. “It was my way of dealing with stress. But how could I expect anyone to love me if I didn’t love myself?”
To lose weight, Heather gave up fast food and started cooking food for herself at home. Along with this, she used to walk 10,000 steps every day. In this way, when he lost 81 kg of weight after three years of struggle, he gained self-respect and confidence. She says, “It was very satisfying to say no to people who treated me badly because of my weight. These men think I did it for them, when really I did it for myself.” Heather says that earlier I could not sit in a plane seat, but now I can comfortably fit in an economy seat.” Today Heather has both love and family in her life. She is engaged to her fiancé she met at the bar and is expecting her first child.
Of her fiancé, Heather says, “I wore a red bikini and didn’t think about my loose skin or stretch marks. But he loves me even without makeup, with messy hair.” Heather advises, “Just start. There is no perfect time. Every day you wait is another day you could have gotten closer to your goal. If I hadn’t lost weight, I wouldn’t be where I am today.” Let us tell you that earlier Heather used to eat 8 eggs, a packet of bacon, a bagel in the morning, McDonald’s Big Mac in the afternoon, and frozen lasagna or chicken fajita at night. But now she eats egg whites, turkey bacon in the morning, grilled chicken in the afternoon, turkey or chicken breast at night.
