Late actor Kader Khan revealed his deteriorating relationship with Amitabh Bachchan in an interview. Kadar was dropped from a film because of not saying Amitabh to be ‘sir’.
Kadar spoke openly about his deteriorating relationship with Amitabh in an interview. According to Kader Khan, he was removed from the film ‘Shahenshah’ simply because he did not call Amitabh as ‘Sir’. Kadar revealed in the conversation, ‘Once during the shooting of a film, a producer came to me and said, “Do you know Sirji?” On this, I asked him, which one, sir? So that producer pointed towards Amitabh, after which I said he is Amit.
Kader Khan further says that ‘Sir Ji’ did not come out of my mouth for Amitabh and as a result I went out of his films. It struck Kader Khan’s heart so much that even after many years passed, he had become emotional while referring to this incident in that interview. This interview is before the death of Kader Khan. Kadar breathed his last in Canada on 31 December 2018. Kader Khan got very emotional in that interview and said that you do not call your friend, your brother Sir, but you do not call Kader Khan his head from the film Shahenshah Became the reason for being out. After that, the two did not work together in any film. Kader Khan is still remembered for his unmatched comedy.
