There is an unspoken truth in many offices that when an ordinary employee gets promoted, some managers are bound to have a stomach ache. Recently, a similar case came to light in Delhi, where an employee bought an iPhone with a salary of only Rs 26,000. Then what, the jealousy of some people increased beyond limits. It was not just about buying the phone, but the employee’s rapid progress and growing self-confidence gave sleepless nights to the owner.
Actually, Kawalijit Singh, co-founder of Kharak Singh The Dhaba and founder of The China Door, shared a post on social media X, in which he shared the surprising story of one of his employees. According to Singh, this employee was earlier a delivery driver in the company. With hard work and dedication, within a few years he took over the responsibility of local operations of the company. He told in the post that the employee bought an iPhone worth Rs 70,000. This was not a common purchase, because his monthly salary was only Rs 26,000.
