Ingredients
Material amount
Green peas (boiled) 500 grams
Spinach (boiled and squeezed) 500 grams
Green chilli (finely chopped) 2
ginger 1 small piece
Bread slices (soaked in water and squeezed) 2
gram flour for coating
salt as per taste
Black pepper powder ¼ tsp
oil for pan frying
Method of preparation (Step-by-Step Method)
1. Prepare the mixture. Add boiled peas, squeezed spinach, finely chopped green chillies, ginger and grated bread in the mixer. Grind them well and make a smooth mixture. Keep in mind that there should be no water in the mixture.
2. Mix the spices, take out this paste in a bowl and add salt and black pepper to it and knead it well. This step gives perfect binding to the kebab and balances the taste.
3. Shape the kebabs: Take the mixture in your hands and make small round or oval kebabs. If the mixture seems sticky then apply light oil. Lightly coat each kebab in gram flour, so that a crispy layer is formed on the outside and the kebab does not break in the pan.
4. Pan Fry: Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Cook the kebabs on medium flame until they become golden and crisp on both sides. If you want, you can also deep fry or air fry it.
5. Serve: When the kebab is ready, take it out in a plate and serve hot with onion rings and green chutney or tomato ketchup.
