According to Dr. Ashok Kumar, if your child is passing stools with water more than three times, then it could be a symptom of winter diarrhea. In this, there is excessive lack of water in the patient’s body, which means he may suffer from dehydration. Children suffering from this should be fed only lukewarm and liquid food. Apart from moong dal khichdi, ORS solution should be given continuously. Keep in mind that the water should not be too cold nor too hot. Antibiotics should not be used in winter diarrhea.
