Meerut resident husband-wife Dinesh Talwar and Disha Talwar started their special campaign from Lata Mangeshkar Chowk of Ayodhya Dham. During this, both the couples were seen walking in reverse and drawing people’s attention towards the serious problem of rapidly increasing population. His unique style soon became a topic of discussion among passers-by and devotees.
Dinesh Talwar and Disha Talwar have been continuously touring different states and cities of the country for the last 32 years and giving the message of population control. He believes that uncontrolled population growth has become one of the biggest challenges of the country. The increasing population is directly impacting the education system, where resources are becoming limited. At the same time, additional pressure on health services is also increasing, due to which common people are not getting timely treatment.

The couple says that due to population growth, employment opportunities are also becoming limited. Despite hard work, the youth are not getting proper opportunities, due to which unemployment and social dissatisfaction is increasing. Besides this, it is also having a serious impact on the environment. Problems like deforestation, shortage of water resources and pollution are continuously deepening. Through their unique campaign, Dinesh and Disha Talwar want to give the message to the society that population control is not only the government’s responsibility but every citizen’s collective responsibility.
