Ankit told that my father started teaching children from two rooms. This is his legacy which I am maintaining and taking forward. Father had such a passion for teaching children that he opened a school even in a Naxalite area.
RanchiAnkita, a resident of Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, is today the chairperson and owner of YBN University, Under this university, College of Pharmacy and College of Teacher Training as well as a YBN School are also successfully running, But building such a big empire worth crores was not so easy, There is 25 years of hard work behind it,
Ankita spoke exclusively to Local 18 and told, my father started teaching children from two rooms. This is his legacy which I am maintaining and taking forward. But its foundation was laid by my father. There were two rooms in the house and he had such a passion for teaching children that he even opened a school in a Naxalite area. It was his passion that has brought me here today.
How to provide good education to the people here cheaply
Ankita tells that mine and my father’s thinking was that the local people here who are not able to afford expensive B.Tech, Pharmacy, B.Ed or vocational courses. How to give them good and quality education at an affordable price. Along with placement in a good company. It was only this passion that the journey that started from two rooms, climbed the ladder of success and transformed into a big university today.
Only education can change destiny
He further said, we know that it is only education that can change the situation here. The people of Jharkhand and the students of Jharkhand, who are also the future ones, can come out of all these exploitations and atrocities happening to them through education and live a respectable life. That’s why we focused on education to make the society better by providing good education at low cost.
Such children can do B.Tech in three lakhs
Giving information about the course, Ankita says, the biggest feature of our university is that the fees here are very low. Here you can study B.Tech in just Rs 3 lakh and do a pharmacy course in Rs 35,000. But this fee remains double in other universities and colleges. This is the reason why children here are always ready for admission.
girls are underestimated
Ankita says, I am the chairperson of this college and especially my father took me forward. Because people always think that girls can handle such big responsibilities, but from where I am sitting, this misconception of many people gets cleared. Most of the staff we have to bring women forward, you will see only women. So in such a situation, along with education, women empowerment is also getting a new direction.
