BJP MP Dr. Jayanta Kumar Roy has told news agency ANI- ‘Today around five o’clock in the evening TMC goons attacked me with sticks and weapons. There is no such thing as law in West Bengal. Jayant has been admitted to the North Bengal Medical College in Siliguri.
Kolkata. BJP MP from Jalpaiguri in West Bengal Dr. Jayanta Kumar Roy has alleged that TMC workers attacked him on Friday evening. He told news agency ANI- ‘Today around 5 pm TMC goons attacked me with sticks and weapons. There is no such thing as law in West Bengal. Jayant has been admitted to the North Bengal Medical College in Siliguri.
The doctors have said – he has been attacked on the head. Apart from this, there have also been sharp attacks on the stomach. His condition is stable now. Let us tell you that in West Bengal, BJP has been continuously accusing Trinamool Congress of political violence in the last years. There has been a lot of uproar over the post-election violence. The Mamta government had come under criticism for this.

It feels good to be back home. Mamta Banerjee said that Mukul Roy is welcome in the party. I have no differences with Mukul. TMC is the strongest party.
