BSF arrested Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist Abdul Khaliq with weapons at Pargwal International Border, who is a resident of Rajouri and was taking training in Pakistan for three years. After initial action, BSF has handed over terrorist Abdul Khaliq to Jammu and Kashmir Police.
Jammu. Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir have foiled another nefarious conspiracy of Pakistan. Border Security Force (BSF) has arrested a dreaded terrorist who was trying to infiltrate at Pargwal International Border in Jammu. The captured terrorist has been identified as Abdul Khaliq. He is said to be associated with Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) organization. Abdul Khaliq was entering the Indian border with a large cache of weapons. The alertness of BSF caught him in time, due to which a major incident was averted. He was planning to carry out some major attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
A shocking revelation has come to light in the terrorist investigation. Terrorist Abdul Khaliq is not a Pakistani but an Indian citizen. He is a resident of Darhal area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. According to police records, he was missing from his home for the last three years. His missing report was lodged at Chingus police station in Rajouri three years ago. Sources say that he crossed the border and went to Pakistan (POK) in the year 2021.
Returned after weapon training
According to security agencies, Abdul Khaliq was in Pakistan for the last three years. There he took proper training in using weapons. Now he was returning back to India with full preparation so that he could rekindle terrorism in the valley. On Friday morning, under the cover of darkness, he tried to infiltrate from Pargwal sector. But alert BSF soldiers saw him and surrounded him and arrested him.
MP5 rifle and ammunition found
At the time of his arrest, a large quantity of weapons were recovered from him. BSF has recovered one MP5 rifle, one magazine, 10 live cartridges and one empty drum magazine from him. These weapons are proof that he had come to target a big ‘target’.
Terrorist on police remand
After initial action, BSF has handed over terrorist Abdul Khaliq to Jammu and Kashmir Police. During joint interrogation, he has revealed many important secrets. The police produced him in the court and took him on remand. Now he is being strictly interrogated as to who was his target and who was going to give him local support.
