Gaya year was disturbing not only because of life being stalled, but also because many of our favorite artists also left this world. Not only did those artists leave the impression of their art on the screen, but the hearts of their loved ones settled as if someone had left them. Everyone’s mind was heavy. Meanwhile, many people had to lose their jobs too. It was difficult for everyone to get care in such a difficult time. All the ideals of life, knowledge and patience were at their peak. While nature seemed to us to be blissful, our own life was beginning to look full of sorrows. Many people were stranded in a city somewhere away from their loved ones, while some people were considering their good fortune with their loved ones in their homes. It means to say that despite the silence all around, there was chaos.
But within few months we all started life again. People found new income options. Moving towards a new life, the steps were slow, but deep. Festivals have special significance in every culture of the world. It has always been inspiring us to rise above our sorrows and celebrate life. As soon as the festivals started, the enthusiasm for life in people started growing again. It felt like ‘There is still some life left in me.’ And in the same way, sad clouds of people started coming down. People were able to meet each other again, taking precaution only but then met. Many people who did not cut a day without meeting each other, they started meeting again after months. Tears of happiness started flowing in people’s eyes.
Was 2020 really such a bad year? We often take ‘For Granted’ things that add color to the canvas of our lives in our daily run. Perhaps 2020 had come to realize this. Your friends, relatives, social concerns etc. were losing their importance despite being part of life. Over the years, the distance between people helped to bring their relationships closer. Many people connected with new people through social media at home. Made new friends and started looking for new ways to meet people whom he used to talk to as an excuse to not get time. If seen, the year passed was a year of personal development. Everyone has learned something new. Just think that the person you are today would never have been if your life had continued on the same worn-down pattern. This year has made these lines of Gopal Das Neeraj worth nothing, ‘Life does not die due to the death of some dreams’.
Of course, time shook like a big experience. We trembled. Badhwasi surrounded us but life did not stop. He is moving forward, holding all the scratches and holding the finger of hope. Gulzar says that ‘man is a bubble / of water / water breaks on the surface, also drowns / then recovers / flows again / neither the ocean could swallow him / neither the date has broken him / on time Always flows / man is a bubble of water.
It is remembered of an essay that a person lives in his time. He plays the innings well. The game goes on. Time chimes are not heard. But she keeps on watch. Keeps beware Cautions. Man, don’t warn, that’s a different thing. In the words of Lalit essayist Shriram Parihar – As it goes, it stands with the mirror of things. The amazing thing is that time is not seeing your mouth in those mirrors. The man is sick of competing to see the mouth and catch the reflection. The man is trying to move by keeping a kick on the toe of another. The transformation of the resources of nature took place in such a miraculous way that our world was filled. But the man became empty. If he does not have value, then it is worth nothing. If that is not the case, then everything will be kept clear.
Though the equations of man and time are solved in books, their solutions are different in life. Time keeps ahead, but it is the power and importance of a man that it is because of that he is underlined. Time goes by and some living traces go hand in hand with the values of civilization and culture. After all, what do we want! The new year is knocking in the midst of this questioning. It is said that the darkest night is just before the darkest sun rises. After this deep night, the sun of 2021 will bring some light with you. After the accident in Hiroshima-Nagasaki, Japan, Japan again emerged on the map of the world so that today it is not only standing on its feet but it has become the definition of development in the world. Perhaps this is the time when we will go one step back and move two steps forward. No matter how bad the last year has gone, it has undoubtedly taught us to face emergency situations strongly. Whatever happens, as long as hope is alive, there is no defeat in the game. Despite spending years under adverse circumstances, seeing the love that has been welcomed by the world around 2021, it certainly seems that hope is still alive, the game is still intact.
Shire Nida Fazli calls this hopeful life something like this-
The same is with the living / thundering clouds / the smoldering sun / spilling rivers which is / is the incense of its footsteps, which is itself the night of your eyes.
