Half of the schools in Japan have issued a decree that if a student’s hair is wavy or not black, then they have to give proof of their not being artificial or color.

Out of 177 schools in the city, 79 have given this order. Let me tell you that in Japan many schools have strict rules for the color of hair, makeup, uniform and even the length of girls’ skirts.

The Tokyo Education Board told Japanese media NHK that certificates for hair are not compulsory everywhere. But out of 79 schools, only five have made it clear that this is not a requirement.
