According to the Meteorological Department, the weather pattern is going to change in many states of the country. There is a possibility of rain in Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh to Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Kashmir today and tomorrow. Not only this. There is an alert for rain as well as snowfall in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. In this way, there is going to be a double attack of weather on the people. Cold on the one hand and rain and snowfall on the other can worsen the situation. The cold wave continues in the states of the north-west and central regions of the country including the capital Delhi and road, rail and air traffic is also being affected due to the fog. The Meteorological Department said that due to Western Disturbance, the minimum temperature in northwest India may increase by two to four degrees Celsius in the next 2 days, while the maximum temperature is likely to go up to 20 degrees Celsius.
At the same time, according to the weather information website Skymet Weather, heavy snowfall is possible at one or two places with light to moderate rain and snow in Ladakh, Jammu Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh today i.e. on Thursday. Light rain and snow are possible in the upper reaches of Uttarakhand. One or two moderate rains may occur over Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The minimum and maximum temperature of Northwest Central and East India may increase further. Most parts of the country can get relief from the cold wave soon. However, cold day conditions may persist in parts of Bihar, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Not only this, dense to extremely dense fog can occur in Punjab, Bihar, Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.
Melting will increase due to snowfall in Himachal, alert issued
The weather patterns have changed once again in Himachal Pradesh, as snowfall is being seen in many districts. From Lahaul Spiti, Kullu to Chamba and the higher reaches of Himachal, it is snowing. There are chances of rain and snowfall in the capital Shimla as well. According to the Meteorological Department, after the activation of the Western Disturbance, the weather of Himachal Pradesh is going to be extremely bad for the next four-five days, as an alert has been issued for heavy snowfall in many areas of the state. Due to snowfall in Himachal, once the temperature will drop and the cold will increase.
