Haryana Weather: Cold has started increasing in Haryana and light fog is visible in the morning and evening. The minimum temperature was recorded around 9 degrees in many districts. The weather will remain dry and the temperature will gradually decrease. Experts have advised farmers to complete wheat sowing soon and regularly check the crops for pests and diseases.

Faridabad: The effect of cold has started increasing gradually in Haryana. Fog has started appearing in the morning and evening. However, right now it is not affecting the visibility much. If we look at the weather conditions of the past day, the temperature in Bhiwani was highest during the day. At the same time, maximum cold was felt in Hisar at night. Gradually, due to the moist winds coming from the north, light haze was seen in many areas. A slight decrease in temperature has been recorded in different parts of the state. The minimum temperature was 9 degrees in Narnaul, 9.6 degrees in Karnal, 9 degrees in Bhiwani and Gurugram, 9.7 degrees in Kaithal, 8.9 degrees in Panchkula, 9.1 degrees in Mahendragarh and 9.6 degrees in Sirsa. Daytime temperatures were also slightly below normal in some parts, but overall the weather remained cold and dry.

According to the Meteorological Department based in Chandigarh, the weather remained dry in the state in the last 24 hours and there was light fog at some places. There has been a slight decline in the average maximum temperature compared to yesterday. The sky is likely to remain clear in the coming days and the temperature will gradually decrease, due to which the effect of cold will increase further.

Dr. Madan Singh Khichad, Head of the Department of Agricultural Meteorology, Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, said that the weather is generally dry at this time, but due to the mild effect of western disturbance, it can be cloudy sometimes. Due to this, the temperature may drop slightly during the day and may also rise slightly at night. Along with this, the direction of the wind can change frequently and can move at a light speed. Due to which there is a possibility of light fog in some places in the morning.

For farmers, Dr. Khichad has advised that wheat sowing should be completed as soon as possible. Apart from this, if symptoms of pests or diseases are seen in mustard or other crops, then the advice of an agricultural expert should be taken immediately, so that the crop remains safe and losses can be avoided. Overall, the effect of cold is increasing, but the weather is still stable and by taking precautions, farmers can take good care of their crops.
