Winter Homegrown Green Vegetables Tips: In winter, vegetables like spinach, fenugreek, coriander and green onions can be grown very easily in the courtyard or terrace of the house. More nutritious vegetables are available in less space and less time, that too completely organic. This farming is possible in every home with local fertilizers and light irrigation, due to which your plate becomes fresh and healthy.
Be it potato, pulses or any other vegetable, green coriander is used in all vegetables. We can easily grow it in the courtyard of our house also. First of all, a pot is to be taken and nutritious soil is put in it, in which a little cow dung is mixed. After this, coriander seeds are soaked and kept in the soil and watered regularly. After this easy process, green coriander is ready in 20 to 25 days. We can use it to add to vegetables, which increases the freshness and taste of the vegetables.
Spinach is a favorite and nutritious vegetable of the winter season. Because during winter season, spinach is mostly used for making parathas, sabzi and raita. We can easily grow spinach in trays in the courtyard of our house. For this, put seeds in the soil to a depth of 3 to 4 inches and keep watering regularly. In about 20 days, spinach leaves become ready for use in vegetables and parathas. This way, you can enjoy fresh and nutrition-packed spinach at home.
To grow fenugreek at home, it is very important to choose a sunny place and moist soil. While planting fenugreek seeds in the soil, it should be kept in mind that quarter inch space should be left between the fenugreek seeds and water should be given every day so that moisture is maintained. In about 20 days, fenugreek leaves become ready for making vegetables. From the leaves of one fenugreek plant, we can prepare vegetable or use it at least 3 to 4 times, due to which you will get fresh fenugreek for a long time.

If we want to grow Bathua at home during the winter season, then we have to take a pot in a sunny place on the terrace of the house and make four-five holes in this pot. Then mix soil and vermicompost and put it in this pot. After this, we will scatter Bathua seeds in it and water it a little every day. With this process, Bathua seeds will start germinating in 6 to 7 days and in 25 to 30 days, Bathua leaves can be used to make vegetables or parathas.
We can also plant radish in a pot on the terrace of the house. For this we have to mix cowdung manure in nutritious soil and we will put the soil mixed with cowdung manure in a pot. After this, we will put radish seeds in it at a depth of one or two inches and water it little by little, because giving excess water can be harmful for radish. With this method, we can use radish as a vegetable in 30 to 35 days, and enjoy fresh radish.
