Bokaro News: Special arrangements are being made for animals and birds in Jawaharlal Nehru Biological Park located in Sector-4, Bokaro. They can get a safe and warm environment during falling temperatures.
The effect of increasing cold in Bokaro is not only visible on humans but also on animals. Keeping this in mind, special arrangements are being made for animals and birds in the Jawaharlal Nehru Biological Park located in Sector-4, Bokaro. They can get a safe and warm environment during falling temperatures.
In such a situation, Manikant Dhan, head of information of Bokaro Steel Plant, while giving information said that first of all straw has been spread in all the cages. Due to this, animals are able to sit comfortably on warm straw instead of cold ground. Due to this their body temperature also remains normal. At the same time, bonfires and warm-lights are arranged at night for deer, sambar, peacock, monkeys and herbivorous animals so that the temperature of their cages remains warm.
Special winter setup for animals
Apart from this, the trees in the organic garden have been pruned so that sunlight can reach the animals easily, while the rooms of wild animals like leopards and bears are covered with thick curtains and sacks at night, so that cold air cannot enter inside. High-voltage bulbs and room heaters have also been installed in their enclosures. To protect the animals from the cold, the team of the biological park is taking special care of them. The leopards are being given extra meat to increase their energy, while the bears are being given sweet honey in their plate. Fresh fruits and vegetables have been arranged for the deer and birds. Their immunity remains strong and during the winter season, the team of doctors is continuously checking and monitoring the health of all the animals. So that any kind of problem can be identified and resolved immediately.
