Lakhimpur Kheri: Farmers’ crops are getting ruined due to stray animals in Lakhimpur Kheri. Farmers locked animals in primary school in Surjanpur village, administration is busy investigating.
Lakhimpur Kheri: The terror of stray animals is continuously increasing in Lakhimpur Kheri district of Uttar Pradesh. Due to which farmers’ crops are also getting ruined. But no attention is being paid. Where with the onset of another winter season, incidents due to stray animals are continuously increasing on the state highways. Drivers passing on the state highway also have to face problems. Many people have also died in road accidents caused by stray animals.
Stray animals have been locked in the primary school today by angry farmers in Surjanpur village under Gola tehsil area. While giving information, the farmers said that information was given to the responsible officials many times but no attention was paid to the stray animals. Where another farmer is saving his crop at this time, day or night.
Giving information about the matter, farmer Balram said that at present the wheat and mustard crops are being continuously destroyed by stray animals. In such a situation, several times information was given to the village head and other responsible officials, but no solution could be found to the problem of stray animals. Due to which today the villagers have gathered and locked all the cows in the courtyard of the primary school.
Block Development Officer Bankeganj Rishikant while talking said that the matter has come to his notice and 6 cow shelters have been built in our block area. Stray animals are kept in such a primary school that the stray animals have been confined by the farmers and are being sent to the cowshed. Giving information about the matter, Tehsildar Gola Bhimchandra said that the matter has come to his notice and the entire matter will be investigated.
