Have you ever noticed what happens to your hair after getting a haircut at the salon? In many places, the barber sweeps the hair out of his shop in the garbage. Whereas in some places, barbers collect and sell it, from which fake wigs are made later. But an American barber (creates a world record) plans to do something different with the cut hair of his customers. The man made the world’s largest human hair ball from those hairs.
In the city of Cambridge, Ohio, a man named Steve Warden works as a barber by profession and the name of his salon is ‘Blockers’. These days Steve is in a lot of discussion. Actually, Steve alone has created a giant human hair ball which is made of human hair. Due to this unique feat, Steve’s name has been registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. But it was not so easy to show this feat.
Ball ready in 9 years
In the year 2013, when Steve’s youngest son went to study in college, he started saving a lot of time. His children often inspired him to make balls with hair, although Steve did not take it seriously at that time. But after the child left, Steve started making balls. He installed such a system in his salon that when the customer went to get a haircut, Steve used to sweep the hair lying on the ground and he used to reach a room downstairs through a net on the ground where Steve was collecting all the hair.
The weight of the ball is 102 kg
When he felt that he had gathered enough hair, he bought several types of glue from the shop and started sticking it. Slowly Steve kept sticking hair in that ball and after about 9 years (Man took 9 years to create human hair ball) the ball took a huge form. Today the weight of this ball is 102 kg. In the year 2018, when the ball grew to a very large size, Ripley’s Believe It or Not put this ball as an exhibition at Orland Comic Con where people were so impressed to see it that they also donated their hair . But now this ball has registered its name in the Guinness World Records. He said that he made this ball in the love of his children. He wants his next generation to see it too.
