The way of traveling on the national highways of India is about to change. The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has decided to implement the new toll payment structure. Its objective is to reduce cash transactions at toll plazas and make travel more convenient for passengers. Under the new rules, a phased fee system will be implemented for vehicles without valid FASTag, which will promote digital payments and maintain convenience for all passengers.
