Amit Kumar/Patna. Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and in-charge of the Home Department, Samrat Chaudhary is continuously taking new steps to strengthen the law and order of the capital. In this series, Patna city will now be monitored through AI generated high-tech cameras. It has been started from Gandhi Maidan, the most crowded and sensitive area of Patna. StuffUnknowncorrespondent Amit Kumar gave complete information from near the new camera system located at Gandhi Maidan. Till now, about 650 CCTV cameras were already installed in Patna, but these were traditional cameras. The technology that is being introduced now is AI-Enabled Surveillance System, which will provide advanced features like facial recognition, suspicious activity, number plate scanning and crowd control. These cameras are being installed around Gandhi Maidan, towards Ashok Rajpath and in the entire surrounding area. According to sources, work has started on the plan to install about 200 AI generated cameras in Patna. Through these cameras, a criminal can be identified immediately and in case he runs away after the incident, his face and activities will be clearly recorded. This will help the police to take quick action in major incidents. After taking charge of the Home Department, Samrat Chaudhary is continuously taking new initiatives – from changes in the traffic system to activating police stations. Now the deployment of AI cameras is being considered a big step towards making Patna Police more hi-tech. Patna Police claims that this system will give a completely new direction to the security of the city in the coming days.
