Tanzania has the oldest stone tools made by humans. These tools were built about 26 lakh years ago by the people of Homo habilis species. This spectacular discovery has left the faces of archaeologists.

Carter said that this discovery from the valley has revealed the geological history and ancient sediments of 2 million years ago, in which stone remains and human remains are very well preserved. He said that stone tools and animal remains (wild animals, pigs, hippos, panthers, lions, birds) have been found from the Iwas Oldduppa site, suggesting that both humans and animals lived near the watershed.
