In Hindu religion, Shami plant is considered auspicious and it is very dear to Shani Dev. By placing it at the right place in the house, the effects of Saturn’s Sade Sati and inauspicious planets can be avoided. It is most auspicious to place it in the south direction or on the right side while leaving the house. It should be protected from direct sunlight and it is best to apply it on Saturday. In this regard, the famous astrologer of Deoghar, Nand Kishore Mudgal, has explained in detail.
Deoghar: In Hindu religion, Shami plant is considered extremely auspicious and sacred, because it is dear to Lord Shanidev. There is a belief that if a person is undergoing Sadesati of Saturn or has an inauspicious aspect of Saturn, then offering Shami leaves and worshiping the plant pleases Shani Dev and has a positive effect on life. Besides, by worshiping it one also gets the blessings of Lord Shiva, due to which the person can remain safe from the effects of inauspicious planets.
However, according to Vastu Shastra, it is very important to choose the right place to plant this plant in the house. Otherwise instead of profit there may be loss. Famous astrologer of Deoghar, Pandit Nand Kishore Mudgal told that it is very important to keep some things in mind while planting Shami plant in the house.
Keep these things in mind
Selection of direction: South direction is considered the most auspicious for planting Shami tree. If this direction is not available then it can be installed at the entrance of the house or even on the balcony/terrace.
Location at the entrance: Planting a Shami plant on the right side while leaving the house gives auspicious results. This position attracts prosperity and good fortune.
Dhoop Meditation: Astrologers say that the Shami plant should be kept at a place where direct sunlight does not fall on it.
Good day: Saturday is considered the best day for planting Shami tree, because this day is directly related to Shanidev.
According to the information, Shami plant brings happiness and prosperity in the house and makes it worthy of Shani Dev’s blessings, but it should be planted in the right direction and place by following the Vaastu rules. By doing this the person experiences positivity and peace in his life.
