Jammu/Katra. There is a very good news for the devotees going for darshan of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) has started a new ‘Sadhana Room’ in the building. This room is located on Trikut mountain in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. It was formally inaugurated on Saturday. The purpose of this new facility is to give the devotees an experience of peace and meditation amidst the crowd. Now devotees will be able to get spiritual peace along with darshan in the court of Mata.
Starting with Vedic mantras, officials said that the Sadhana room was opened for devotees on Saturday. Vedic mantras were chanted there during the inauguration. Due to this the whole atmosphere became devotional. The Board believes that this initiative will further enrich the spiritual environment. It will be an intense experience for the visitors and devotees coming here. They will be able to feel their connection with God by sitting here.
Special facility near the sanctum sanctorum
SMVDSB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Sachin Kumar Vaish gave information about this. He told that this Sadhana room has been built very close to the sanctum sanctorum of Mata Vaishno Devi. This is part of a larger effort by the Shrine Board to strengthen the spiritual infrastructure at the building. The board is continuously working on increasing the facilities for passengers.
Lakhs of devotees will get benefit
The CEO said that lakhs of devotees come here every month. They travel with very deep faith and devotion. In such a situation, it was necessary to arrange a quiet place for meditation. With the opening of this room the entire experience of pilgrimage will change. For those who wanted to sit in peace for a few moments after darshan, this would be the best place for them.
