Raipur. The winter session of Chhattisgarh Assembly started with uproar and political allegations and counter-allegations. On the very first day of the session, opposition parties including Congress boycotted the proceedings. The ruling party reacted sharply to this step of the opposition and called it against democratic traditions. He said that the presence of the opposition is necessary to discuss the vision, development and future of the state.
In the winter session, the government’s priority development, law and order, Naxal eradication and policy reforms were discussed, but due to the opposition’s boycott, the atmosphere of the session became completely political.
