Aligarh News: Big action in Aligarh, history-sheeter Shaka with reward of ₹ 50 thousand caught in police encounter
Aligarh Police took a major action on Saturday and arrested absconding history-sheeter Omprakash alias Shaka, carrying a reward of ₹ 50,000, in an encounter. The police had been searching for Shaka for several days, who had absconded after firing at the police team during a raid on November 9 and shot constable Dev Dixit. On the information of the informer, a cordon was laid in Tappal area, where Shaka, seeing himself surrounded, opened fire on the police. In retaliation, Shaka was shot in both his legs, after which he was arrested and referred from CHC Tappal to the district hospital and then to JN Medical College for treatment. During the encounter, the police recovered an illegal country-made pistol, two live and four spent cartridges from him. The action was taken under the joint operation of Tappal police station and SWAT/surveillance team, in which heavy police force including SSP, SP Dehat, CO and forensic team was present.
Jaunpur News: Condition of 4 family members critical in cylinder blast
There was panic in Jaunpur due to cylinder blast. Four people of the same family were seriously injured. Police arrived on the information of villagers. All the injured were taken out of the house and admitted to the hospital. The condition of three people is critical and were referred to the district hospital. An accident happened while cooking. The police has started the investigation. It is being reported as the case of Hinauti village of Madiyahu Kotwali area.
