With the opening of the bullion market on December 18, there has been a rise in the price of gold. In Uttar Pradesh’s capital Lucknow, gold became costlier by Rs 410 per 10 grams on Thursday. Along with Lucknow, the price of gold has also increased in Varanasi and Meerut. If we talk about silver, today its price has also seen a rise. With the opening of the market today silver has become costlier by Rs 3000 per kg. After this surge, silver has reached a new record level.
Gold continues to rise
On Thursday, a jump was seen in the price of 18 to 22 carat gold in the bullion market of Varanasi. With the opening of the market today, gold has become costlier by Rs 300 per 10 grams, after which its price is Rs 1,23,750 per 10 grams. Before this, on December 17, its price was Rs 1,23,450. If we talk about the price of 18 carat gold, today its price in the market increased by Rs 250 to Rs 1,01,280 per 10 grams.

There was a big jump in the price of silver in the bullion market on Thursday. With the opening of the bullion market, silver became costlier by Rs 3000 per kg to Rs 2,11,000 per kg. Before this, on December 17, its price was Rs 2,08,000 per kg.
Increase of 21000 in 10 days
Ravi Saraf, General Secretary of Varanasi Bullion Association, said that these days the prices of silver are increasing faster than gold. In the last 10 days, silver has become expensive by Rs 21000 per kg. This rise in the price of silver is also a record in itself.
