UP Board Exam 2026: UP Board has given the opportunity to object on the provisional exam center list till December 4. The final list will be released on December 30.
Prayagraj. The Council of Secondary Education has uploaded the preliminary list of examination centers for 10th and 12th board examination 2026 on the website of UP Board. This can be checked on the board’s website upmsp.edu.in. According to the list, 7448 examination centers have been proposed in the entire state for the board examination of 2026. Among the examination centres, 910 government, 3484 aided and 3054 funded schools have been made examination centres. Preparations have been made to conduct high school and intermediate examinations at these examination centres. 7657 examination centers were proposed for the 2025 examination. This included 940 government, 3512 aided and 3205 funded schools.
The prepared list of examination centers has been uploaded on the website of UP Board after examination and approval by the district level center selection committee constituted under the chairmanship of DM.
Register objection at the examination center
If there is any objection or complaint regarding the examination centers selected online, then students of the institution or school, parents, principal, manager, along with appropriate reasons, can send an online report to the district level center determination committee by attaching the prescribed format on the portal of the Council of Secondary Education i.e. UP Board by 4th December. UP Board has clarified that no representation will be accepted after December 4.
The District School Inspector will investigate and resolve the objections. After this, the list and report along with the approval and recommendation from the district level center holding committee will be forwarded online on the website of UP Board by December 11, 2025. UP Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh has also released the format for filing objection.
Number of candidates reduced by two lakhs
This time the number of candidates in UP Board has decreased by about 2 lakh. Therefore, speculations were already being made that the number of examination centers would be reduced. However, this figure of proposed examination centers 7448 is not final yet. After objections, the number of examination centers may increase or decrease. The examination centers are being decided online by the UP Board. The entire process of determining the examination centers is being done between November 10 and December 30. The approved center list will be uploaded on the UP Board website by December 17. Whereas objection can be lodged again till 22 December. The list of final examination centers will be released by the UP Board on 30 December 2025.
