UP Politics: The newly appointed state president of UP BJP, Pankaj Chaudhary has set his target. In his first statement after becoming the president, he said that his target is to achieve a bigger victory in 2027 than in 2017.
Lucknow. Union Minister of State for Finance and seven-time Lok Sabha MP from Maharajganj, Pankaj Chaudhary has been appointed the new state president of Uttar Pradesh BJP. In his first statement given immediately after his appointment, Pankaj Chaudhary emphasized on strengthening the organization and better performance in the upcoming elections. He said that his aim is to register a bigger victory in 2027 than in 2017. For this, a meeting has to be held with the national leadership and state organization.

This appointment of Pankaj Chaudhary is being considered as a strategic decision keeping in mind the 2027 assembly elections. Chaudhary, who comes from the Kurmi community, is one of the prominent faces of Purvanchal and his role will be important in strengthening the OBC vote bank of the party. The national leadership of BJP approved his appointment unanimously. Now he will replace outgoing president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary. There is enthusiasm about this change among party workers and all eyes are fixed on organizational strength. It is being said that there may be more changes in the UP organization in the coming time.
