Blockchain and Quantum Computing
Garg said that we are looking at what blockchain can help and can it be of any use in providing a de-centralized solution? On the other hand, regarding quantum computing, we have to see what security solutions can be brought related to it? UIDAI is also looking to make the most of blockchain and quantum computing technologies.
what is partial verification
Saurabh Garg said that we are ready to look into partial verification as well. Partial verification means verifying only a few information rather than verifying all the information given in an Aadhar card. For example, an organization or company wants to know about the area of residence of a person. They do not want the address of his place of residence. They just want to know whether this person lives in this area or not. The UIDAI chief said that he wants to know the needs of the industry on these topics.
