Talking about the match between Australia and West Indies, while batting first, the Caribbean team was reduced to 169 runs. In reply, Australia achieved the target at the loss of 4 wickets and with 31 balls to spare, won the match by 6 wickets.
Australia’s bowlers bundled out the hosts’ innings for 169 runs in 40.1 overs. West Indies won the toss and elected to bat, but the team lost three wickets for just 12 runs in the sixth over. After this, captain Akim Auguste, apart from playing an innings of 57 runs in 67 balls, shared 95 runs for the fourth wicket with wicketkeeper Rivaldo Clarke (37 runs in 42 balls).
