Barmer. Pachpadra, which is in discussion for refinery in the entire state including Barmer district bordering Pakistan, is in discussions these days because of a special program. Such an event is going on in Pachpadra which has never happened before. This program has been named ‘Babul Ki Galiyan’. In this, apart from different cities of the country, more than one thousand daughters of Pachpadra, who were married or living in America, Australia, Britain, Dubai, have reached Pihar together.

Daughters respect father, daughters never let their father bow down. No matter how many wishes are there, but a father fulfills every wish of his daughter. Daughters definitely become strangers after marriage, but they can never become strangers from their father’s heart. These few lines fit perfectly on those one thousand daughters of Pachpadra today. Who had not come to her Babylon home for the last 20-30 years.

The enthusiasm of the daughters towards the event is such that even age is not becoming a hindrance. Some even daughters who are 80-90 years old are also coming from Ahmedabad and Chennai, so that once again they can roam the streets of Babylon, where they grew up playing.

This is how this idea came

Actually, Mamta Talesara and Bhavna Dhilladia, residents of Pachpadra, are two sisters. Mamta lives in Mumbai and Bhavna lives in Ichalkaranji. Mamta told that in August last year she had gone to a wedding in Hospet, Karnataka. There both the sisters got this idea while talking. That’s why he formed a WhatsApp group and talked about it with the daughters of Pachpadra living in different cities. In the next 15 days, 500-600 daughters joined his group and till now more than one thousand daughters are a part of this WhatsApp group.

Apart from different cities of the country, more than one thousand daughters of Pachpadra town living in America, Australia, Britain, Dubai have participated in the event. The special thing in this is that there are some such, who had not come to Babul’s house for the last 20-30 years. Ahmedabad resident Nikita tells that not one, but four generations are meeting together. There is a lot of enthusiasm among the daughters of Pachpadra regarding the Babul Ki Galliyan programme.
