Patna. Nitin Nabin, who reluctantly entered politics at the age of 26, contested and won the by-election after the death of his father. When he won the elections for the first time, he later shared some of his memories with News 18. In this old interview, he shared stories from his school days to the night of victory, while his childhood friend ‘Tenny Chacha’ refreshed old memories in a light-hearted manner. Despite being only 25-26 years old, personal sorrow and inexperience, when the call came from the BJP leadership – then National President Rajnath Singh and State President Radha Mohan Singh, it became clear that there was no option left to retreat. Under pressure from family, party and circumstances, he had to contest the 2006 by-elections. The first election and the first result was not just a political achievement for Nitin Naveen, but was the turning point of life. Distance from politics, but fate handed me the ticket
Nitin Nabin told that the emotional connect of the public, security related incidents and a small linguistic mistake taught him that every word, every step matters in politics. Today, when he has become the National Working President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, it becomes clear once again that sometimes politics is not a dream, but a destiny written by circumstances. Nitin Nabin… who never liked politics, is today playing the most important role in the Bharatiya Janata Party organization. In an interview with News 18, he had told that in the school slam book he had written politics as ‘the worst day of my life’. Nitin Nabin says that he never had any dream of entering politics. During his school days, in his friends’ slam book, he had clearly written in the About Politics column – “My worst day in my life is that I live in politics.”

Journey from hatred to beginning of politics
Night of victory, mother’s worried and nervous call
As soon as the news of his first victory was received in the year 2006, Nitin Nabin’s mother called him – come home. The mother was afraid what would happen to her son if he went into politics. He told that- For me, there was more fear of changing life than victory. Nitin Nabin told that after the assembly elections, three incidents were memorable. People started crying by taking the name of the father, once the guard opened fire on the person who caused the accident and in the address on the death of Pramod Mahajan, instead of ‘condolence’, the wrong word was used, which was used by the media. Learned from him that there is no room for mistakes in politics.
