Ingredients required to make Palak Corn Chilla
-2 cups fresh spinach
-1 cup boiled sweet corn
-1 cup gram flour or half cup gram flour + half cup semolina
-1 green chilli, finely chopped
-1 small onion, finely chopped
-1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
-Half teaspoon turmeric
-Half teaspoon red chilli powder
-½ tsp cumin
-Salt as per taste
-Water as per need
-A little oil for frying
Step-by-step recipe to make Palak Corn Cheela
1. Prepare Spinach Puree
Wash spinach thoroughly and blend it with 1 cup water and make a smooth puree.
2. Prepare the batter
In a large bowl, add gram flour, semolina, spinach puree, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and spices.
Add boiled corn and onion to it. Prepare a thick batter by adding some water as required.
3. Let the batter sit
Leave the prepared batter for 10 minutes so that the flavors of the spices mix well.
4. Start baking the cheela
Heat a non-stick pan and apply a little oil.
Take a ladle of batter and spread it in a round shape on the pan.
5. Cook on both sides
Add some oil on the edges of cheela and fry till it turns golden from both the sides. Prepare all the cheelas in the same manner.
