India-Russia Trade: India and Russia are once again preparing to set the stage to take their friendship to a new level. It is obvious that the American President will be shocked once again after receiving the news of this.
New Delhi. US President Donald Trump has been after India for the last several days because he wanted to stop the purchase of crude oil from Russia. Now India has once again prepared to take such a step, knowing which Trump will be shocked. This step of India is only to reduce the impact of the tariffs imposed by America, but in the effort to further increase friendship with Russia, America may definitely feel uneasy.
In fact, Indian exporters of engineering goods will participate in a four-day exhibition to be held in Moscow this week. Its objective is to promote the country’s exports amid heavy duties imposed by America on domestic goods. The delegation will be led by SC Ralhan, President of FIEO, the apex organization of Indian exporters. Ralhan said that Mitex-2025 will provide a platform to domestic exporters to showcase their quality products to global buyers.
The stage will be set up in Moscow on 14th November
He said that Commerce Secretary Rajesh Aggarwal will chair the buyer-seller meeting in Moscow on November 14. Ralhan said more than 20 Indian companies are expected to showcase a wide range of products including hand tools, engineering accessories, industrial hardware, machinery components, fasteners and related industrial solutions.
Rapidly growing engineering exports
He said that Russia has been an important trading partner for India and there is significant potential for cooperation in the engineering and equipment sector. Our engineering exports to Russia are growing rapidly and are expected to reach $1.75 billion by the end of this year. Ralhan said India’s participation in Mitex is aimed at strengthening commercial ties and promoting Indian manufacturing excellence in the Russian market. This will further boost bilateral trade between the two countries.
Moscow is also ready to cooperate fully
On this occasion, the Embassy of India in Moscow, in collaboration with the Department of Commerce and FIEO, will organize business meetings between Indian exporters and Russian industry representatives to facilitate trade partnerships, joint ventures and market relations. This platform will help Indian exporters to reach Russia and other markets of the world.
