Jamshedpur: Railways has canceled many important trains between 24 and 27 November 2025 due to operational constraints. The biggest impact has been on MEMU and passenger trains running through Tatanagar, due to which the movement of passengers may be affected. Railways has appealed for cooperation from passengers.
Operation of these trains canceled
68133/68134, 68135/68136 and 68129/68130 MEMU trains running on Tatanagar-Badampahar route will remain canceled on 25, 26 and 27 November. These trains connecting rural areas are considered important for daily commuters. Whereas 68127/68128 Chakulia–Tatanagar MEMU will also remain closed on 26 and 27 November.
68003/68004 MEMU of Tatanagar-Gua route will remain canceled on 25th and 26th November. Along with this, 68025/68026 Chakradharpur–Rourkela and 68029/68030 Rourkela–Jharsuguda MEMU will also remain closed between 25th and 27th November. 68033/68034 Jharsuguda – Sambalpur MEMU will also be affected during the same period.
Important routes 68125/68126 MEMU of Tatanagar – Barbil, and 68085/68086 MEMU of Tatanagar – Barkakana will also remain canceled on 25, 26 and 27 November. A large number of passengers travel in both these trains every day, on whom this will have a direct impact.
Chaibasa–Tatanagar MEMU (68137) will remain closed on 24, 25 and 26 November, while 68138 will not run on 25, 26 and 27 November. 68036 Tatanagar–Mehndipur MEMU will also remain canceled on 25th and 26th November.
Among passenger trains, 58151/58152 Birmitrapur-Basuken Passenger and 58659 Hatia-Rourkela Passenger have been canceled on 25th and 26th November. Whereas 58660 Rourkela – Hatia Passenger will not run on 26th and 27th November.
68033 MEMU going from Tatanagar to Hatia will also remain canceled on 26th and 27th November.
Apart from this, 68023/68024 Jhargram–Purulia MEMU will remain closed on 25, 26 and 27 November.
Railways has said that it regrets the inconvenience caused to passengers and has advised them to check their travel plans in advance.
