Passengers traveling in Delhi’s DTC buses (DTC Bus) will have the option to purchase e-tickets through the Charter App Charter App.
Contactless ticket system trial started in more than 3700 buses
The first trial of a contactless ticket system was started last year in cluster buses between the Kovid-19 pandemic and later some of the DTC buses. A senior official of the department said that in the meeting of the task force set up for this purpose, it was decided to start this trial in more than 3700 buses. This task force was formed by Delhi Transport Minister Kailash Gehlot.

Officials said that in September 2020, testing of the contactless ticketing system was started through the app, which was later expanded to 128 buses. The official said that preparations are in full swing for the large scale trials and QR code stickers are being pasted in the buses. Tickets can be purchased by scanning these codes.

Training is being given to employees
Along with the trial of contactless ticketing system, employees are also being trained on this. The official said that apart from the ticket, the travel pass can also be obtained in this way.
