- Placing a camphor tablet or clove or a cotton ball soaked in mustard oil or milk or a piece of fried asafoetida under the tooth provides relief from toothache.
- If there is bad smell from the mouth, then taking ten grams of liquorice powder and cardamom powder after meals and gargling with it will remove the bad smell.
- By chewing bitter neem leaves mixed with a little asafoetida and sucking its juice, worms in the stomach and teeth are destroyed.
- Mixing rock salt in mustard oil and applying it on the teeth stops bad smell and bleeding from the teeth, strengthens the teeth and removes pyorrhea from the roots.
- Mixing half a teaspoon of rock salt in a cup of water and gargling with it every morning prevents all types of dental diseases.
- Mixing ground salt in sesame oil and rubbing your teeth daily with your fingers will relieve the pain of cleaning your teeth.
- Chewing carrots after meals destroys harmful germs present in the mouth. Regular consumption of carrots prevents bleeding gums.
- Grind fresh leaves of soft Neem with black pepper and black salt and consume it daily to cure pyorrhea and bad breath.
- Take cumin, rock salt, myrobalan, cinnamon and southern betel nut in the same amount and burn them in a closed vessel and grind them. Regular brushing with it destroys the germs of pyorrhea.
- A patient of pyorrhea should always keep his stomach clean and should consume maximum quantity of green vegetables and fruits.

- Mixing the juice of one lemon in a glass of water and gargling with it in the morning removes bad breath. Do it for two weeks.
