BJP will start roadshow from Patel Chowk on January 16 from 3 pm
Advice not to go on many roads including Gol Dak Khana, Gurdwara Rakab Ganj
New Delhi. Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory on Monday in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in the national capital. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is organizing a roadshow on January 16 from 3 pm on Sansad Marg from Patel Chowk to Sansad Marg-Jai Singh Road Junction. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also participate in this road show. In a statement, the Delhi Police said, “Special traffic arrangements will be made in the areas around the roadshow route to ensure smooth traffic management.”
Special security arrangements have been made regarding this roadshow of PM Modi. Due to this, it has been said in the traffic advisory that Ashoka Road (Windsor Place to Jai Singh Road GPO both carriage way), Parliament Street, Tolstoy Road (Janpath to Parliament Street), Rafi Marg (Rail Bhawan to Parliament Street), Jantar Mantar Road , Imtiaz Khan Marg and Bangla Sahib Lane will remain closed from 2:30 pm to 5 pm on January 16.

According to Delhi Police Baba Kharak Singh Road, Outer Circle Connaught Place, Park Street/Shankar Road, Minto Road, Mandir Marg, Barakhamba Road, Panchkuan Road, Raisina Road, Tolstoy Road, Janpath, Ferozshah Road, Rafi Marg, Rani Jhansi Road, Heavy traffic can be seen on DBG Road, Chelmsford Road, Bhai Vir Singh Marg, DDU Marg, Ranjit Singh Flyover, Talkatora Road and Pandit Pant Marg during the roadshow.

Traffic will be diverted at Gol Dak Khana, Gurudwara Rakab Ganj, Windsor, Rail Bhawan, Outer CC-Parliament Marg Junction, Raisina Road-Jantar Mantar Road Junction, Janpath-Tolstoy Road Junction and Tolstoy Road KG Marg Junction. Delhi Police has advised people to avoid these roads, stretches and areas coming in the roadshow.
