These days tomato cultivation is going on. For its bumper yield, special attention should be paid at the time of flowering. In this stage, give a mixture of DAP, urea, potash and zyme to the plants. After giving the mixture, irrigate the field and hoe in light moisture. This measure will increase productivity, prevent diseases and ensure more profits.
Bhagalpur: Nowadays, leaving the traditional method of farming, young farmers are increasingly turning to vegetable farming, because there is a possibility of getting good profits in it. However, to get maximum yield in vegetable farming, it is most important to maintain it properly and use fertilizers at the right time. In this connection, if you are cultivating tomatoes and your plants have started flowering, then spraying or using a special mixture can increase your yield manifold.
Neeraj Kumar, an experienced farmer from Bhagalpur, says that he has been doing farming for the last 10 years. Proper care of tomatoes, especially timely treatment, is very important. If timely treatment is not done, tomato leaves start getting wrinkled (disease), due to which the crop gets spoiled.
Use this special mixture when flowering occurs
According to farmer Neeraj Kumar, as soon as tomato plants start flowering, farmers should make a mixture of the following fertilizers and give them to the plants:
DAP
Urea
Potash
a zyme
The field should be irrigated immediately after giving this mixture. When there is little moisture left in the field, then weed it. Neeraj Kumar claims that after using this mixture, there will be so much fruit production in the plants that farmers cannot even guess. This mixture not only increases the yield, but also protects the plant from many types of damages and blight diseases.
Correct selection of seeds and variety
Selection of variety also matters a lot to earn bumper profits in tomato farming. The farmer should always select seeds according to the type of his soil. If you select the best variety, the yield automatically increases. If the right variety is not selected, the yield is not good. Therefore, proper maintenance along with soil testing and selection of high quality seeds are the first steps to success.
