The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert of cold day for 16 districts. Due to increasing cold in Uttar Pradesh, school timings have also changed. On the other hand, people are resorting to bonfires at intersections to protect themselves from the cold wave on the roads. The Meteorological Department estimates that fluctuations in maximum temperatures will be seen in the next few days.

Alert issued for Lucknow also
The state capital Lucknow will also witness cold weather today. The morning will start with dense fog here too. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert regarding this. It is estimated that the minimum temperature in Lucknow today will be around 12 and the maximum temperature will be around 20 degrees Celsius. However, there may be a slight increase in it in the next 24 hours.

BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that cold wave attack is now being seen in UP. The situation will remain similar for the next 48 hours. After that a little change can be seen. However, people now also need protection in this cold. People should avoid going out unless necessary.
