According to the information received from the Zonal Weather Center located in Amausi, Lucknow, on December 18, the night as well as day time will be very cold in many cities of Eastern UP as well as Western UP. In such a situation, cold wave situation will persist in 14 districts. Lord Bhaskar will also not be seen in these cities. The Meteorological Department has issued red, orange and yellow alerts for different cities regarding this.
Red alert issued in 14 districts
On Thursday (December 18), cold wave along with fog will be seen in more than 14 districts. Visibility will be zero in these districts. It is estimated that today Gorakhpur, Deoria, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Sant Kabirnagar, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Sitapur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, Bareilly, Rampur, Moradabad and Bijnor are included.
