Varanasi: Normal life is disrupted due to severe cold in Uttar Pradesh. The situation is such that in many cities of the state, there is severe melting like night time even during the day. Along with melting, fog continues to wreak havoc in many districts. On Sunday (21st December) also, the effect of fog and cold wave will be seen in the state from Varanasi to Aligarh. The Indian Meteorological Department has expressed this possibility. It is estimated that the maximum temperature is going to be much below normal for the next two days.
Fog will be seen in these districts also
Apart from this, yellow alert has been issued today regarding fog in Jhansi, Lalitpur, Hamirpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Aligarh, Hathras, Agra, Farrukhabad, Bulandshahr, Kannauj, Etawah, Etah, Mainpuri, Jalaun, Hardoi and Auraiya. The weather is likely to clear here as the day progresses. However, the cold is troubling people here too.
Yellow alert has been issued today in the capital Lucknow regarding cold day with dense fog. It is estimated that today the minimum temperature in Lucknow will be around 11 and maximum 17 degrees Celsius. There will be a slight increase in it after the next 24 hours. If we talk about Noida adjacent to Delhi, today moderate to light fog can be seen there with the beginning of the day. However, as the day progresses, Lord Bhaskar will also be seen there. The weather has been predicted to remain similar in Ghaziabad also.
Possibility of maximum temperature fluctuations
BHU meteorologist Professor Manoj Kumar Srivastava said that there is a possibility of fluctuations in maximum and minimum temperatures in different cities of UP during the next 2 to 3 days. It is estimated that a change of 2 to 4 degrees Celsius can be seen in the maximum temperature in many districts.
