Huge amounts of money being recovered from the hideouts of TMC leaders and associates
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Rahul Sinha said that huge amount of money is being recovered during raids on the residential premises of TMC leaders and their allies in the recent past. He said, ‘Will TMC again declare itself innocent and allege that it has been framed by central agencies? Will TMC allege that it is being defamed? The people of the state are watching everything. A huge amount of currency notes were seized by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) from the apartment of an aide of former TMC general secretary Partha Chatterjee. Hitting back at the BJP, TMC’s Rajya Sabha member Shantanu Sen asked why similar raids were not being conducted on the properties of BJP leaders.
